Many heroes and great children have been born in the holy land of Mother India, and one of them is Swami Vivekananda. His childhood name was Narendranath Dutta, born on 12 January 1863 in a Kayastha Dutta family in North Calcutta. The name “Swami Vivekananda” was given to him by Sri Sri Ramakrishna Dev. The 19th century Indian great man Ramakrishna became a disciple of Paramahamsara and he preached Hinduism in the court of the world to spread the spirit of Indian literature and culture to the whole world. He established the Ramakrishna Mission to help the poor and distressed people. His heart was so generous.
In a word, Swami Vivekananda was a Rishi or a Saint and has imparted to us all his knowledge, teachings, wisdom and spiritual thought as long as he lived.
The village house where Swami Vivekananda was born was built by his great-grandfather Rammohan Dutta.
Rammohan’s eldest son Durgaprasad left the family and became a monk at the age of twenty-two. Son Vishwanath was a child. He grew up with his own efforts and accepted the profession of attorney. Vishwanath was married to Bhubaneswari Devi, the only daughter of Nandalal Bose of Shimla.
Their sixth child Narendranath Dutta later became known as Swami Vivekananda.

Education life
In 1879, Narendranath first entered the Presidency College after passing the entrance in the first division from the Metropolitan School. But he had to leave this college and join the General Assemblies Institution (now Scottish Church College) due to becoming a discollegiate due to malaria.From there in 1881, F.A. And passed BA in 1884. Although school and college examinations were not given special importance, Narendranath’s passion for learning was strong and the scope of his studies was also very wide.
Swamiji passed away on July 4, 1972 AD. In the evening he meditated in his room at Belur Math. At 9:10 p.m. that meditation turned into Mahasamadhi. Swamiji was 39 years 5 months 24 days old at the time of his death..
